The Maharashtra & Goa Circle of Uninor initiated the program SEWA, in association with Hope for the Children Foundation. .
SEWA
These women are under-privileged, single mothers or HIV positive. Uninor trains and empowers them to sell Uninor SIM cards, activations and recharges as mobile retailers, thereby earning additional revenue with a weekly or monthly commission.
In addition to training their sales skills, Uninor has also committed to holding regular counseling and training sessions on grooming and personality development so that the SEWA women can not only stand on their own and look after the education of their children and needs of the family, but also increase their self-respect and self-confidence in society.
